The first step is to check that we haven't already written a review of the website you think deserves inclusion. Travel Souk's editorial team has a stock of articles that we are working through; so to avoid duplication please use the contact form to check with us first.
The most important thing to remember is that we aren't in the Public Relations business and aren't compiling a glossy online brochure. We are looking for the best that the web has to offer; and this typically means non-commercial sites. Puff pieces will inevitably end up in the Recycle Bin.
Website reviews should be authoritative and objective; focusing on the content of the site, rather than the mechanics. Hence if reviewing a site on Kenyan Safaris, we would much rather read about which parks are the best and why; than the mechanics of how to navigate your way around the website itself. Each website review should add to the reader's understanding of the destination; even if they don't click through to visit site. Style pointers can be found in our online style guide. Reviews should be between 250-400 words.
