Passports and Visas
UK nationals must buy a visa at the Turkish airport or border. It costs £10 and must be paid for in sterling. The visa is valid for three months and allows multiple entries.

For longer stays a residents' permit may be obtained from any local tourism office or the tourist police. Red tape can make this a lengthy process.
