Arriving in Dalaman Airport
The Airport is 5.5km from Dalaman Town , though there is little in the town itself. A taxi between the two will cost about £4. Alternatively you'll find all the usual big name car hire companies have representatives in the airport (best to book in advance or you will be charged extra accordingly).
Dalaman Airport itself isn't one of Turkey 's finest. It can be crowded and hectic at busy times, and many travellers complain about the high prices of food and drink. However, once you've escaped the chaos of the airport, the rest of your stay in Dalaman should be relaxing enough to make up for it.
Most people use Dalaman Airport en route to Fethiye, 50km to the south. Fethiye's coach station is 2 km east of the city centre.
If you are arriving by coach you'll find the Otogar is located in Dalaman Town , near the junction of Ataturk Caddesi and Evren Bulvari.
