By Air: Bodrum Airport is a 45-minute (35km) road journey form the city centre. A taxi will cost in the region of £20. A Havas shuttle bus runs from the coach station ( Otogar ) to meet most flights and costs £2.50.
By Coach: The coach station ( Otogar ) is located on Cevat Sakir Caddesi, not far from the centre of town.
By Ferry: Ferries run from Bodrum tom the Turkish towns of Knidos, Didyma and Datca, and the Greek Islands of Kos and Rhodes . Ferries dock at the jetty on the peninsular in front of the Ancient Harbour . The two principal ferry companies are: Bodrum Ferryboat Association (Tel:252-316 0882) and Bodrum Express Lines (Tel: 252-316 1087), both have offices near the Castle of St. Peter .
Getting around Bodrum
Bodrum is a small city and most places can easily be reached on foot. Taxis are cheap and minibuses ( dolmus ) can be flagged down and stopped anywhere.
