Getting around Sharm el Sheik

Taxi: Taxis are the easiest way of navigating Sharm el Sheik. In theory taxis are metered, although the reality is different. You'll often find that the meter is often missing or switched off. Establish your fare before setting off.

Legwork: Central Sharm el Sheik is relatively compact and most places of interest can be reached on foot.

Service Taxis and minibuses run to most destinations along the coast, as it's a sellers market haggling isn't that effective.
