Arriving in Cairo

Air: Cairo International Airport is 25km north east of the city at Heliopolis. International flights arrive and depart from Terminal 2. Journey time varies, but will be a minimum of half an hour - travelling in rush hour will seriously add to this. There are coach services every 5-6 minutes. Taxis are available to the city centre and the main hotels, after a haggle you should be able to settle on E£ 40.
